I have started negotiations with Stalmine.net, To set-up the 1st Community WAN Project in the UK. The Resinet Project will connect thousands of homes across Blackpool Fylde and Wyre, on what I would call the biggest Network Wide Area Network ever! There will be no complicated software to install or connections to setup. All users will need to do is install our simple to use network client and then login to the network.
So what do users get with Resinet? They get more than just a connection to the network. They get 1GB of space for storing their files, which can be upgraded to 5gb if needed. Users also get access to Netmail, the software Repository, 24 hour ticketing system and much more! So how much will people need to fork out to join the project? The answer to that question is nothing! Because Resinet is a community project for the community, we do not charge to use the Community Network. Please stay tuned to my blog for more info on Resinet.
